The Carver Mariner was first introduced in 1984 receiving her first make over in 2004. Since the latest Mariner was produced as recently as 2010, this vessel offers a fresh, up-to-date look.
An updated version of Carver’s original 36 Mariner built back in the 1980’s, this 36 Mariner combines the spacious single-level interior of her predecessor with contemporary styling and a surprisingly good turn of speed. By any standard, this is a big 36-footer with the ability to entertain a small crowd without being cramped. The Mariner’s full beam salon features a posh Ultraleather (convertible) lounge & dinette, (you can sleep up to 6!) high-gloss cherry woodwork and a full entertainment center with TV and stereo CD. The extra-large head includes a separate, large shower stall, and the galley has plenty of storage and counter space. Topside, flanking stairways lead from the cockpit to the enormous bridge where port and starboard lounges and an aft bench seat can seat up to ten guests. Forward on the foredeck is an upholstered seat for two additional passengers, offering perhaps the best seat on board. Getting around the Mariner's decks is a snap thanks to her open deck design. Twin transom lockers house fenders and lines, keeping the cockpit clear of clutter. Air conditioning, a generator, flybridge wet bar, swim ladder and transom shower are also included. The centerline transom door makes accessing the swim platform a breeze. A wide and very modest transom dead rise make the Mariner a notably stable boat. Cruising is comfortable at about 20 knots, with a top speed of about 27 knots, and she takes to the waves and tracks very nicely. She's a blast to run.
Step aboard Sea Angel and right away you'll know she's loved and cared for by her original owners. The only reason she's on the market is that they have found their next yacht and are now ready to pass her along to her new owners...perhaps it's you!
