Accommodations  

The interior of IMAGINE features satin-finished cherry wood paneling.  Fabric themes are beige and
turquoise with floral accents.  The galley counter top is beige granite with black flecks. All heads have tan
marble counter tops, teak & holly flooring and Grohe fixtures.  Carpeting throughout is a beige low-cut,
luxurious pile.



Window treatments are highlighted by Hunter Douglas silhouette blinds in the salon.  Headliners are
high-quality Majilite vinyl material with a custom cherry wood ceiling design in the salon.  Large viewing
windows are found on the main deck and stainless steel opening port lights provide natural in the
staterooms.  Cabinet pulls, door hardware and plumbing fixtures are satin-finished nickel.  All stateroom
closets are cedar-lined and storage is maximized.



The Salon is quite spacious, featuring a 10' L-shaped, leather covered sofa, two easy chairs and a hi-lo
table with burl wood top.  A long set of cabinets to port house the entertainment center with pop-up plasma
TV.



Walking forward, the Pilothouse is up three stairs with an L-shaped settee that seats six to port, a centered
helm station and a Stidd helm seat.  Wing pantograph-style doors on either side provide access to the
covered walkaround side decks.  A wood stairwell to port leads up to the flybridge.  The Galley is aft and to
starboard.



Accommodations are reached via the starboard stairwell in the Pilothouse.  The Master Staterooms is
located aft with a private head to starboard.  The master berth is king size with the headboard aft and
hinged air shocks for easy underneath access.  A full walk-in closet is to port.  The port lights on both sides
are framed with stylish Shoji screens.  Forward are double doors which open to a foyer.  There is a vanity to
starboard.



Forward and to port through the companionway is a cozy and inviting Guest Stateroom which houses twin
over/under berths and a private head.  The VIP Stateroom occupies the bow and features a centerline
queen berth and its own private head.


Engine and Mechanical Equipment  

The Engine Room is accessed from the aft deck via a concealed door in the staircase to the Flybridge.  Full
stand-up headroom with convenient access throughout.  The Engine Room is dressed in white, perforated
aluminum with foam / lead sound shielding behind.  The twin CAT 1000 hp engines are mounted on

Hull and Deck  

The hull has shallow propeller pockets and is solid FRP layup.  Hull sides, decking and superstructure are
all foam-core laminate.  Windows are designed for excellent visibility in the Pilothouse and Salon.  All are
tempered safety glass with tinted sides and are frameless with silicone seams.



All four water tanks and three holding tanks are plastic.  Drains, sumps and bilges are connected to a
common manifold FRP tube which runs lengthwise down each side and discharges after under the
platform.  Main exhausts are the underwater type with stern bypasses.  Air intakes (E/R) and fuel vents are
mounted inside on the walk-around side decks.  The Aft Deck is sizeable and highlighted by the previously
mentioned built-in stairway to the Flybridge and an L-shaped al fresco settee.  The Lazarette can be
accessed by means of a large deck hatch.  It offers convenient contact with the heavy-duty, all stainless
steel steering gear and provides plenty of deck storage.



The transom door opens to an integral Swim Platform with concealed swim ladder.  The main and forward
decking is covered with molded pyramid non-skid.  The wide walk-around side decks are covered.  All deck
rails and fittings are top quality polished 316-grade stainless steel.  The Foredeck houses dual anchor
hatches and an anchor pulpit.



The Flybridge features an L-shaped settee with FRP table aft of two Recro helm chairs.  A custom-built, fully
equipped Wet Bar occupies the Boat Deck and includes four stainless steel bar stools and a magnificent,
cherry wood counter to with gloss finish.

Video Uploads are very simple.  Just click on the Upload my Video link at the top right of the My Videos page (when you're logged in).  A Small window should appear with a flash form.  Click Browse, select your movie file, and click upload. 

Watch the progress bar on your page.  When it is finished uploading, it will process your video into our system.  DO NOT CLOSE the window!   When you see the form to upload another video re-appear, the process is done!  If you have more videos to upload, select another video and start uploading it.

While the uploads window is working, you can go and work in other parts of the site.  Including the My Videos page.  Here you can select any video from your list and set file permissions, access groups, content rating, video category, as well as the title and description.  Click save and, it's done! 

Photo and Video albums are very easy to create.  First you need to click on the MY Photo Albums link on your menu to the left.  Then click on "Add New Photo Album". 

In the form, give your photo album a title / name.  Then Type the author.  Next set the Default Permissions (this will determine who is allowed to see your pictures and videos).  Next, type a description for this photo album.  It could be a trip you took, a car or boat you're selling, a funny thing that happened or whatever.  Then save your album information.

Now, for the whichever album you wish to add pictures to, Click the "Add Multi Photos Form" link.  A separate Popup like window will appear with your title and description in it on the left side.  On the right side, a Java Applet will open which will allow you to select either full directories/folders or many individual files.  You can select up to 100 mb of pictures in a single upload.  The Java Applet will resize all the pictures on your computer and then upload them to the server.  Wait for it to complete on it's own.  Do not close the window.  You can leave it working in the background while doing other things.  Upon completion, it will most likely say, Document Contains No Data.  This means it worked!  At this point, if you want to add more pictures to the same album, you can select and send more pictures. 

Close the window, click on the My Photo Albums link to refresh the My Photo Albums page.  You should see your pictures appear here.

Each of the different websites can have different albums, photos, videos and pages specific to each site.  So get creative! 

With our built in HTML editor, you can arrainge your pages with tables, and many other HTML elements.

If you need any special images to put on your pages, they also can be hosted here as well.  Just click the image list link above the editor and it will load all your images with the full url path included.  You then click the insert image link on the toolbar, paste the image address into the URL field, set the width and height, and then click OK.  You're done putting in your own images!

We took Imagine out into the Atlantic Ocean accessing the sea first from Governor’s Cut in Miami. Seeing the huge mansions on the famous Star Island, South Beach Condominium developments and Fisher Island was amazing. But when we put on the powerhouse stereo which was specially augmented so that even while cruising the sounds of our favorite Classic Rock groups were crystal clear and made the experience unforgettable.  In the main cabin a 32” flat screen television would mysteriously with the touch of a button rise from the cherry wood console, and with a drink from the state-of-the art bar we could talk about our experiences of the adventures on Imagine as they were being formed daily.

Each time that we docked groups of people would appear and to take pictures of the Yacht and the passengers which they must thought had to be special people being on such an impressive Yacht. I really felt like I was “somebody” while on Imagine, quite a good feeling.

Imagine became my friend’s home away from home. The bathrooms were also paneled with cherry wood and the showers were state of the art complete with pulsating hand held shower massagers. I was in heaven!  My cabin was equipped with a queen sized bed that was a pleasure. The ride on Imagine was extra smooth due to the stabilizers that my friend had added as another extra.

Now after many incredible times on Imagine having it built in ‘2006 sadly he decided to sell Imagine. His loss will be the gain of some new owner who I am sure will enjoy the exquisite details that this boat has throughout on all three levels, from the top deck complete with a kitchen and barbeque, to the bridge one flight below the  but this time with a complete kitchen complete with granite throughout and down to the main quite expansive salon with upholstered furniture tables and another bathroom and equipped luxury bar, then to below staterooms one with bunk beds the other with queen, and for my friend a king sized stateroom with a master bathroom. Other boats similar to his have been listed for sale for as much as $2,300,000 and to construct the boat new today would mean spending with all of the extras a cool $3,000,000  plus! But he has listed Imagine for the Yacht now for the modest price of $1,440,000 to inspire a quick sale during these  economic times. As a novice not knowing anything about boats I began speaking to other yacht owners and yachting enthusiasts. They would immediately tell me that the yacht manufacturer Symbol is quite thorough in its attention to detail and are really a much better “bang-for-the buck” that other boats of much higher prices for instance, Marquis 65 , Azimut 68, Johnson 70, Hargrave 68, Offshore 72, Hatterus 64, Hampton 68, are nice, but there is no comparison with Symbol Yachts at such affordable pricing.

When John Lennon wrote Imagine he was inspired to think how things could be in an optimal existence, never would he Imagine that a boat would be built evoking the same feelings.

I will miss how Imagine blissfully parted the ocean waves for us and how it snapped us into a mystical voyage each and every time that we could share another experience that told us why we were such close friends. Luckily I still have my best friend here to enjoy life together and we now have the experiences that could only be enjoyed on Imagine to reflect upon each and every time we get together.

The Sara Rose is an exceptional yacht in many ways. She has a very pleasant separate Aft Deck, plus a Cockpit, four staterooms and four heads, with the Galley Up, just forward of the Salon.

The basic layout is extremely popular. In this general size, Hatteras has built hundreds with the same configuration.

Please note: There are very few hours on the Main Engines since they were rebuilt and the Generators were replaced; one in 2001 and the other in 2007.
